This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. Here is everything it does with information about you.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is sent to Buttondown, the service that stores the list and sends the newsletter. It is used for the newsletter and nothing else, and it is never sold or shared. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to delete your address at any time.
Visit counts
Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not build a profile of you. I see totals such as pages viewed and the country a visit came from, never who you are.
Videos
The latest videos section shows thumbnails loaded from YouTube's image servers, which receive your IP address like any image request. Playing a video takes you to YouTube, where Google's privacy policy applies.
